Biography
I am a second-year PhD student in Computer Science at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. My advisor at UIUC is Prof. Indranil Gupta and Prof. Yongjoo Park . Before that, I was an undergraduate research assistant at SUSTech advised by Prof.Bo Tang . I also used to be a research intern at UCI supervised by Prof.Michael Carey .

Experience
Teaching Assistant at UIUC
Working as a TA for CS425:Distributed System, the instructor is Professor Indranil Gupta and Professor Aishwarya Ganesan. My responsilibity is to hold office hours, grading homework and machine problems.
Graduate Research Assistant at UIUC
My project mainly focuses on enable clients to concurrently compact shared-log-based database without breaking any consistency.
Summer Intern in ISG-Group
Supervised by Prof. Michael J. Carey. We revised existing tools to generate UDF-enabled queries, which are used to benchmark the performance of the NoSQL database AsterixDB.
Undergraduate Research Assistant in Database Group
Supervised by Prof. Bo Tang. I worked as one of the main developer to build an end-to-end big data query processing system on a CPU-GPU heterogeneous computing environment.
