Biography

I am a second-year PhD student in Computer Science at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. My advisor at UIUC is Prof. Indranil Gupta and Prof. Yongjoo Park . Before that, I was an undergraduate research assistant at SUSTech advised by Prof.Bo Tang . I also used to be a research intern at UCI supervised by Prof.Michael Carey .

I have experience in the following topics:

  • Optimizing log compaction in Shared-log-based systems
  • Building Externally-Synchronous Replicated Filesystems
  • GPU Acceleration for Apache Hive
  • Performance study for Apache AsterixDB
  • Large-scale Entity Blocking
  • Outlier Detection in edge computing enviroment.
